“Only then, the peace-loving people of this lovely state will be able to live peacefully,” the governor of Manipur concluded.

Kamjong district in Manipur is lagging behind the other districts in many areas of development, according to Phungyar MLA K Leishiyo, who was present at the event.Even though the region borders Myanmar is international, he said that due to a lack of amenities, no business transactions or activities could be conducted there.

He encouraged the governor of Manipur to take action to develop the district and bring it up to par with the state’s other districts.
