The date of the Concert for Peace where AR Rahman would be performing, has been set as February 1 on Saturday, which the organisers describe as potentially the largest musical event in the area. The Assam Cricket Association pitch, which is situated in the Sarusajai neighbourhood of Guwahati, will host the event.
Tickets are currently available online on Book My Show and Paytm Insider, according to the statement. These tickets are believed to range in price from Rs 2000 to Rs 150000. There are also tickets for the event priced at Rs 3000, Rs 4000, Rs 5000, Rs 6000, Rs 10000, Rs 15000, and Rs 20000.
The stadium can hold 35000 people, and attendance for this event is anticipated to be at peak. The event’s organisers stated that appropriate measures had been taken to control traffic and crowd movement.
AR Rahman will arrive in the city three days prior to the event, and the organisers estimate that setting up the equipment will take roughly ten days.
In addition to this musical performance, the one-day international cricket match between India and Sri Lanka will take place at the Sarusajai Cricket Stadium on January 10. The game will begin in the late afternoon and end late that night. .
