A spokesman of the society stated on Tuesday that a seven-month-old baby who was killed after being attacked by a stray dog within a fancy group housing complex in Noida had passed away.
According to Dharam Vir Yadav, a spokesperson of the society’s residents organisation, the event happened inside the Lotus Boulevard society’s buildings in Sector 100 around 4.30 pm on Monday.
We lost the child late last night, Yadav said in a statement to PTI. “The boy was mauled by a stray dog on Monday evening. He was rushed to a private hospital where doctors operated on him.
He claimed that the police have been notified and are acting right away.
The toddler was seriously hurt in the incident, according to Assistant Commissioner of Police (Noida 1) Rajneesh Verma earlier on Monday.
“The child’s parents are construction workers; both were working on the community’s construction projects and had kept the youngster close to them. However, a stray dog had entered the community and bit the child, leaving him in critical condition,” Verma told PTI.
He claimed that the youngster was promptly taken to a nearby private hospital, where he passed away while receiving treatment.
The ACP claimed that because the issue involves a stray dog, there hasn’t been a police complaint about it, but they have notified the appropriate agencies to find such dogs.
According to sources, the neighbourhood police on Tuesday filed a general diary case in the case.
