From December 12, 2022, to January 10, 2023, the Indian Yoga Practice Center and Yoga Therapy Centre, a renowned yoga school in Northeast India, will celebrate the 16th Assam Yoga Mahotsav.
At 11:00 am, the Inauguration Ceremony will begin at the District Library in Guwahati.
The event will feature mass yoga and meditation sessions, a yoga rally, a three-day workshop on naturopathy in partnership with the Mahapurash R Srimanta Sankardev Viswabidyalaya, yoga prerana sibir in partnership with the IGP jails of seven districts, a blood donation camp in partnership with the Blood Bank, GMCH, yoga street drama, a three-day workshop on yoga therapy and massage at the Yoga Tirtha Maligion, and a government-
Presentation of the esteemed Swami Shivananda Saraswati Yoga Prerana Award 2022, as well as the customary evening “Yoga Sandhya,” Yoga Quiz, Extempore Talk on Yoga, Yoga Conclave, Inter Yoga Mahavidyalaya Group Yogasana Competition, and other activities.
At Shivananda Yogasharm in Kolkata on January 10, 2023, the closing ceremony will take place.
“We will present 16 awards to 16 deserving individuals through the programme. Prof. Ramchandra G. Bhatta, former vice chancellor of S-VYASA University in Bengaluru, chairman of the Veda Bigyan Shudha Sangthan Institute in Bengaluru, the All India Gurukula Yojana Pramukh, Bharatiya Shikshana Mandalam in Karnataka, among others, received the Swami Shivananda Saraswati Yoga Prerana Award this year, according to Yogacharya Subhas.
