Assam’s Nagaon district saw the arrest of a father on suspicion of repeatedly raping his 11-year-old daughter, according to the police.
According to them, the most recent occurrence of this kind happened on September 20 at their house in Longjap, close to the Kachua police station. “The father accused of the crime left his home after perpetrating the act. After hearing about the entire episode, the girl’s mother tried to contact the community, but she received no satisfactory response, a police officer stated.
He claimed that on September 27 she reported anything to the police.
“The cops jumped into action right once and nabbed the man that very day,” he continued.

The mother of the girl reported to the police that her husband had previously raped his own daughter and had been detained but had been released on bail.
On Wednesday, the man was brought before a judge and placed in protective custody.
