In yet another tragic instance, two bike-borne assailants shot and killed a man early on Monday in Delhi’s Bindapur neighbourhood, according to police.
According to them, Mohit Arora, 32, was shot at while riding a two-wheeler from his store to his home in Manas Kunj in Uttam Nagar at approximately 12.30 am. Arora was left with serious injuries.
After being taken to a nearby hospital, physicians there confirmed Arora dead, according to an official.
The official reported that “police responded to the scene after receiving a call and a case has been launched against the unidentified accused.”
Teams of Delhi Police have been organised to find the accused, and more investigation is being conducted.
Two people, both 18 years old, were recently detained by the Delhi Police in relation to a homicide in Jahangirpuri. The victim’s chest was allegedly stabbed in the same location by the suspects, Noni and Sachin.
In Raju Park in the Devli neighbourhood of South Delhi, a shooting incident resulted in the death of another person.
