In New Delhi: As part of the “Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan,” the Delhi University (DU) announced on Friday that it will host a Tiranga rally the following week to commemorate 75 years of India’s independence. According to the statement, the rally will take place over a four-kilometer route and involve both teaching and non-teaching university employees as well as students. “The University of Delhi will host a Tiranga Yatra on August 10 as part of the “Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan.” Vice-Chancellor Professor Yogesh Singh of Delhi University will be in charge of the historic yatra.
