Guwahati: Applications are currently being accepted for the community development grant offered by the Australian Consulate General in Kolkata.
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Australian Government oversees the Direct Aid Programme (DAP), a minor grants programme. The DAP in northeast and eastern India is run by the Australian Consulate-General in Kolkata. We fund initiatives that support communities in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Sikkim, Tripura, and West Bengal with tangible, focused results.
Community organisations, non-profit organisations, and academic institutions that work on non-profit development projects are eligible to apply. The FCRA’s most recent modifications must be complied with, and applicants must be registered under the FCRA right now.
Applications are invited open from October 12 to November 10. All applicants will be notified about the outcome of their applications via email by the end of December 2022.
Project funding ranges up to INR 10 lakh with some flexibility in case of justified project expenses.
